ASHEN

14 Jun

Its eerie in here,
Mystical , cruel canvas.
Painted in black & hurt..
Tainted with wrath , tainted with thoughts.

Vultures swirl,
Circus clowns cry,
Lonely chapel bell rings,
I walk through lumps of dead.
Dizzy , cruel canvas.

White blood flows,caressing my feet…
through the wilderness,I chase the smoke…
Run , faster , Till I yield. Till I fall.

The chase stops. The flow stops.
The ringing ends.The cries’ die.
The canvas is white

Why the darkness in the canvas? A canvas is meant to be bright, and then one fills in the colours of life, no matter how sordid they may seem. To start with a dark canvas itself is meaningless, as then the colours will never show.

This is heavy stuff actually. You seem to be quite the poet.

Well, you have a regular at your blog now.

    @vivek
    darkness? the canvas is painted in black(read torment)..if u must knw,,this was a nightmare i had..so the “fall” is a pun…
thus the canvas in the end is still white.
